An ICRC plane arrived on Wednesday at the airport with Medical supplies and medicines for the Yemeni people, according to official source at Sana'a International Airport.

The aid came one day after the Ministry of Health of the Houthi Salvation government in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, reported the first confirmed infection with the novel coronavirus.

The ICRC announced, on the tongue of the director of operations in the Middle East, Fabr

Fabrizio Carboni, on Tuesday that the first shipment of medical supplies landed in Sanaa airport since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Carboni affirmed on twitter that more supplies and medicines are expected to arrive in Sana'a and Aden next week in support of health facilities that have been significantly weakened over the years of the conflict.

The number of Covid-19 infected in Yemen rose to 25 cases in the areas under the Yemeni internationally recognized control of the government, while the deaths amounted to 5 cases, and one death in the Houthi control area.
